I’m a UX/UI design leader with 19 years of experience shaping the future of digital products worldwide. I’m a hands-on designer, leveraging design systems, spearheading cross-functional teams, and collaborating with C-level executives to create impactful products.

Career Path

In 2014, I joined Amazon as a UX/UI designer for two years, followed by four years at AT&T as a Senior UX Designer. As a UX strategist consultant, I contributed to Confluent's $11B IPO as part of a team effort. I've also mentored over 50 startups, fostering their long-term success. Before coming to the US, I ran a successful Brazilian Design agency for 12 years, serving clients like Coca-Cola, Nokia, and Anheuser-Busch.

Amazon invited me back, and I now serve as the Design Director at Amazon Appstore. Leading the rebranding strategy across Amazon devices (Fire TV, Fire Tablet, Android devices, and others), I ensure alignment and meet business goals.

My primary focus is on the user, believing that success naturally follows when their needs are met.

I design and document Amazon Appstore global brand guidelines, covering narrative, look & feel, illustrations, user journeys, UX/UI elements, prototypes, and design systems.

Leveraging my brand strategy framework, I led an executive leaders’ workshop engaging customers and executives in co-creation.

I direct designers and UX leads globally to ensure cohesive design system development across devices and maintain brand consistency.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, research, and engineering, to innovate and ensure customer delight as endorsed by user testing.

I conduct competitive analysis, synthesize data to strategize, and present design concepts to secure top-level leadership buy-in.
